We all have to get behind the SFF party it is one of the last fair dinkum party's left that care about Australia.
I have just been looking on there web site and reading about, (quote LAZY TROY).
2.6$ Mil worth of cattle and sheep were stolen in 2016 and GRANT sat on the report for over 14 months and did nothing about it and he is supposed to be in the national party, I live in the country and they do nothing for the people.
Just for you Mark.
KICK THEM OUT FOR GOOD.

Mark,

The same Labor party is responsible for passing the law banning greyhound racing in Canberra. Meanwhile, a Labor-driven bureaucracy in Victoria is trying to implement punitive housekeeping rules which would kill off at least some players. (I discount the waffly speeches by the Premier and Racing Minister who are primarily concerned that the Greens are pinching too many of their traditional voters). Queensland has been and still is a confused mess (both sides) under Labor.

In all cases, the dominant party is playing both ends against the middle ie trying to curry favour with people who are voting for the Greens but who might shift back to the major parties. Foley in NSW did speak up for us but his main motivation has to be the hope of getting more votes at next years election, not patting us on the back. Also, Labor is not well known for cutting back taxes and charges, never mind regulations.

The Lib/NP in NSW at least contained a significant minority who fought against the ban, some at personal cost to their careers. Its not much but if you add SFF to that you have a pretty reliable supporters group which can and has exercised the balance of power. Their form is on the board.

Of course, you cant trust any of them but we could be better off with a devil we know.

Logically, we would hope that the GRNSW Chairman would be out doing battle for us but I would not rely on that. The Labor party has already chucked him out once and may be a bit suspicious that Baird and co brought him into the discussion

You can join the SFF Party without joining a branch, but you have no voting powers and cant be elected to its Executive. Im trying to find out if you can join a branch and give a proxy vote to a member of the branch who is in attendance at a meeting.

Re: not part of and dont know much about ACT politics, but they do have extreme views.

So, vote for a party who has proven their support for greyhound racing.

Greyhound Branch Meetings wont always be at the same location. A motion could be put to the members to have the next meeting at Casino Race Track (if permission is granted) or Coonabarabran Race Track because the greyhound branch is for every greyhound participant in NSW. Of course, you have to be a member of the Party and Branch.

No response yet.

Who do you support ?

What opinion do you have for the NSW Coalition, Greens, SFF, Pauline ?

You are probably right, they usually are in the same trough, but I'd rather give SFF Party a chance when so far, I have no reason to doubt their willingness to help our cause. They've been there since the Upper House Enquiry in 2012 and haven't swayed their support. They've sponsored races, marched, etc.

Of course it's political. If we have no political clout, politicians won't listen to us and destroy our industry. Mr Borsak has told some of us that we have a chance to be a

Powerful Political Voice !

If we want the `balance of power' in the Upper House we need the SFF Party. I know they want and need us too. Let the Seat of Orange (Lower House) be the start of things to come. The Upper House will give greyhound participants a chance to hold a seat, just like the AJP, but I predict the AJP won't be there after the March 2019 Election. Let's replace them. Apathy won't get us there !

Lets not forget what the Coalition did to us and in many ways, still doing to us. Make them powerless in March 2019.

Powerful Political Voice

The Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party invite you to attend the inaugural meeting of the Greyhound Racing Branch of the party at Club Wyong RSL on Saturday the 24th of February from 11am. We will also be holding an election of the Committee on this day

The threats to the Greyhound Industry are very much alive. It's critical that the Shooters Fishers and Farmers regain the balance of power in 2019 so we can force the government of the day to adequately fund and protect the industry.

By joining the branch, you will be an integral part in helping the party develop policy, raise funds, keeping our elected members up to date on issues surrounding the industry and you will be a `loud and important voice' for Greyhound Owners, Trainers and Breeders in NSW.

It is hugely important for greyhound participants to be a `loud and proactive voice' within the SFF Party and we urge you to join us on the day to establish the branch so we can continue the good work we have done for the industry and our members.

To join the branch, you must be a member of the party however we will be offering discounted membership on the day so please feel free to bring along friends and family who aren't members but are prepared to join the party and the branch.

MEETING DETAILS:

Date: Saturday 24th February 2018
Time: 11am.
Location: Club Wyong RSL Club:
15 Margaret St, Wyong NSW 2259

Speakers:
State Director Filip Despotoski
MLC Robert Borsak
State Member for Orange Philip Donato.

Light Snacks will be provided from 12:45pm

In Victoria watch the Cranbourne area electorate. A labor held seat in a racing precinct. Greyhound people have been traditional Labor voters, the current sitting member who has announced his retirement, only just got back in before the Live Baiting Fiasco at the last election

Greyhound people have been shafted since then, especially on this side of town. Training facilities diminished with the closing down of Tooradin, in effect we lost the secondary school of puppy training making it harder to get pups to the track. Add to that the Myth of overbreeding perpetuated by bogus figures from GA and a CEO who made it the mantra at the time that has put the industry under great stress and the dropping out of many respected dog people that have had enough.

GOBIS gone VICGREYS back, beware of the $ seduction in this election year.

And what does this mean?

All Vic Bred greyhounds of all ages will be eligible for the VICGREYS program immediately with no nomination fees payable to be eligible and ***no restrictions applicable on the location of the owner or breeder of the greyhound***.

Does anyone know where the rules or outline of VICGREYS is in more detail? I have looked but cannot find anything. This must tie in with the proposed GRV introduction of registration categories for Rearers, Whelpers, and Educators.

Great more paperwork and rules to be made. The gift that keeps giving.......not.
