This bad news made the front page of the Greyhound section of our daily Racing Post today, here in the UK. Well explained, and good quotes from notable trainers in NSW.. Truly hope for all involved in NSW greyhound industry, that pressure can result in a turn over of this ridiculous decision . All the hard working, honest genuine greyhound enthusiasts , being penalised, for the actions of a very small group of unscrupulous people in the sport.

Baird's reasoning is flawed. As I pointed out on another site, if every greyhound participant in NSW moved to another State and continued the same practises, then how would that stop the 'wastage' and other irresponsible practices? Smelling more and more like a p1ss weak excuse to sell off prime land to pay for infrastructure and other services

The decision is more to take pressure away from the Govt having to deal with the animal activists attacking the Horse Racing Industry , which is far more valuable to the govt. The video of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association , where they have prior knowledge of the decision and how they are planning to be accountable for Foals from Birth to account for " wastage" proves this.

All should rally at local members office and let them know they will not get your vote.The tragedy is the loss of jobs let alone the dogs . The focus only is NSW RACING and NOTHING else MATTERS
I will also say THERE ARE ALREADY A GROUP of people moving things along who have engaged Lawyers and other Legal people and are working as one .
BE PATIENT for a couple of days and let the right people take this further and we all will see who is behind what and what they need from us all to help .
The main FOCUS is for people on social MEDIA NOT to go off half cocked and firing away with no real thought on what our main goals are .
The past is the past the FUTURE is what we all need to focus on

what money spent on fuel trailers walking machines mussels lead kibble meat, food at the races , vet cost, this cost will go a long way to save your sport, ad every bit up you spend,take it to your legal team then the goverment will see how much they loose from revenue from greyhound racing let alone the betting side of things, hope this is not a ramble,

I spoke with Luke Foleys secretary ...she is anti greyhounds as she has a 'rescue' dog. If speaking with her you have to reiterate how well you treat your greys. All the best.
