I know someone that has a litter sister who is lightning first and second sectionals but has cracked her leg twice. I will have to add that our own Anthony Jeffress bred the mother.

Yeah I've heard of that dogs owner Johnno. Sounds like a bit a tosser lol.
& I think I've heard of the trainer, who picked up the first at Albion Pk with a litter brother called JETTA KNIGHT.

No sorry. I think your mate has taken it the wrong way, due to the typo's that seems to happen from "tine to tiwe". See....there it goes again. Bugger. Start again....That seems to happen from time to time on this crappy keyboard.
What that last post was meant to say, "Yeah I've heard of that dogs owner. Top bloke who's gonna toss me a free feed & pi$$" soon lol.

Was the Silver Chief his first group 1 as a sire?
Either way hes got one with out of range.

Yes. He had produced 6 Group starters previously with his best result "Slingshot Gypsy" finishing 3rd in the recent Sandown Laurels.

It's early days still I know, but am I wrong in saying his pups are on the small side and are mostly running 300-400m ?
Ray: Rippin Sam (Fernando Bale X Tears Siam) last 3 in a row, over 715 Sandown, 660 Bendigo, 725 Meadows, Zipping Olympia wins over 630 Casino. Yes they are strong Ray!

Personally I think the winner Allen Ablett would be able to thump most of the group dogs going around here in Australia
He is a serious dog as-is his brother avenger bale
I guess if and when the fol eventually comes to Australia en masse all these dogs will just go into the mix I bet if he were your dog Steve you would be claiming the group 1 lol

Maybe true but your only as good as your competition.

Nope....Not until racing between Aus & NZ becomes a weekly timetable event. That's when equality will become reality between both sides of the ditch. But I'll gladly pocket the loot ;-)

Steve , how would you then rate the current crop of Group races here in Australia at the moment compared to , say 2015 when Fernando Bale , Dyna Double One , Kayda Shae , Sulzanti etc were running??? In my opinion , the current crop are far inferior , but still they are winning Group 1 prizemoney without being real "Exceptional " and having the high class competition.

As I said before. You're only as good as your competition.
Personally, you can't rate 2015 to now or anyother era...as it's a totally different playing field now. Not in terms of stock being bred (or lack of it) but in terms of chasing ability.
Anyway, it looks like FB is off to a flyer.
