A certain someone I know ( and knows a hell of a lot) believes FB will cross really well with Knocka Norris in the dam line.
I tend to agree, but I guess time will tell.

I know a couple of those blokes too.
They said the bitches would have to be nicked with Collision bitches and Irish bloodlines or Go Wild Teddy.
Everyone has an opinion I guess.

this is possibly yours Richard CLICK HERE .

since the breeding parallel needs to be created using different individuals and primo uno and pretty portrait are the same, it reduces the intensity of that nick within 5 gens to approx 44%
- hope that makes some sense........where as Johnathon's mating creates a breeding parallel to Turanza's nick at almost 88%, so much more intensity being created there, however there are arguments to say it may be better a generation further back, but that's being a bit picky.

that doesn't mean your mating wont be succesful btw Richard......fernando may step up with another nick that's been successful with that line.

Ryan, I looked at that (as well as others) I have "Kayla's Penny" as well as "Athos", both a son and daughter (from differant litters) to "Alanis Lane" ("Alanis Lane" being a litter sister to "Turanza Bale")"Athos" has sired a litter to "Zoenah's Entity" CLICK HERE "Kayla's Penny" has 2 litters, both to "Kiowa Mon Many" after a one pup litter. CLICK HERE
"Athos" is as close as you could ever get "Sire Wise" to "Turanza Bale" on the dam side... (I suppose at this stage a "poor mans Turanza") Time will tell based on only the one litter but it is the 2 daughters of "Athos" and the daughters of "Kayla's Penny" that will hold the key to this line.

Cheers.
Rich.

Lets hope these blokes are right.

our pups CLICK HERE are nearly 6 months old and we are very happy with the them.

Time will tell with FB. For me I will wait till his first crop of pups hit the track before I can this dog. he has the numbers to say he will make it.

Fernando Bale has to throw due to weight in numbers regardless if he's a good or bad sire.

But he really is on a hiding to nothing. if he's successful it's the amazing broodies he has recieved. if he doe'snt throw anything of note he has been unable to throw to the best and everyone will be bagging him.

It's a bad example, but if Fernando Bale was to have a litter to Miata and didnt get a superstar everyone would be bagging out fernando bale even though miata has'nt had a superstar yet. but if he did get a superstar it would be no surprise because miata did all the work.

After 40 years in this game nothing has changed you take the best to the best and hope for the best.
I was given Our Miss Tilly and a mate said go to Big Daddy Cool and along came Take The Kitty the dogs in the litter were all good
the bitches could not trot.
I was just lucky but had a great time with the dogs.
OMT had three more litters that were poor.

I know mine can gallop, and from what I understand the others can get along nice as well.

You saying IF Peppie went to Kelso we'd see another FB...or similar...

No Grant, what I'm saying is that from an Aus linebreeding perspective Fernando's dam(Chloe Allen) has to do all the work, (unless you have a Kelso related outcrossed brood), and Chloe carries a Turanza Bale nick(illustrated thru his sister Peppie and Fernando's dam, Chloe's brother Joshua) at approx 88% of Turanza's pedigree within 5 gens.

Now if you have a brood bitch that has had success with Turanza previously in her pedigree(cld even be half sisters to that brood etc;) Fernando thru his mother Chloe cld re-create a breeding parallel with a very high percentage nick to Turanza, if you were to put Fernando over that brood, because you know Turanza has had success with that line previously.

This is just one possible way Fernando cld work with a brood. There may be other nicks he may work well with too, but this nick is the most obvious for the reasons stated above.

I believe this is how the old breeders philosophy or adage "......it's all about the dams" relates to linebreeding.

If you're confused just PM me. cheers.
