Where can someone view the Steward's Report (date / location of meeting, or Inquiry date would be appreciated, please?)

Without knowing the voracity of the charge or the "facts" of this case, anyone with knowledge of greyhounds knows it is common for Handlers (pardon the pun) to manipulate back / hip / chest / stomach muscles immediately prior to boxing a dog; or give it a reassuring pat or "rub".

Is it possible that this may have been all that was going on here? From a side on / unusual camera angle, some of these legitimate and harmless (possibly even beneficial) acts may "appear" to be untoward...

Anthony.
The stewards didn't think so after hearing evidence.

Jamie answer the question? Did u see the footage? And did u see his hand on the dogs dick? Also this was not picked up by stewards it was later looked into because someone put a complaint in.

Hard to talk to someone when you dont know who they are.
Is it Michael or Timothy?

Anyway, I didn't see any vision whatsoever and that doesn't matter because I am not a steward.
You claim to have seen everything and that doesn't matter either because you are not a steward.

I have no reason to doubt the stewards and I do not beleive for a second, that stewards are picking on this trainer because he is a 'big name'. In fact, I'm bloody positive that this trainer gets looked after more than most because of who he trains for.

I think you are defending the trainer because you now have dogs in his kennel.

My concern about the penalty handed down was in comparison to what Granny and the girls received.

We must presume that he was trying to STOP the dog from winning or exposing its true racing potential and speed. Squeezing its goolies was known by this person 'as a good way to do this'. The correct punishment was not a fine, but a lifetime ban from the sport.

How was he 'known' for it ? Maybe the question is best left unanswered.
.
Am I correct to write that he's still allowed to handle n parade dogs ? Will he be monitored?
.
It only goes to show how multidimensional the 'game' is.

To everyone on this thread that has commented on this Topic I can now reply. Our lawyer has completed and settled with both The Advertiser and Triple M for their articles both published and broad cast about Tony.

The Advertiser published an apology stating that their was no foundation for the allegations of misconduct contained in the articles, and that those allegations were totally false. The Advertiser unreservedly apologises to Mr Rasmussen for this error And the distress and inconvenience it has caused him

Triple M broadcast this morning on their Roo and Ditts for breakfast show by Mark Ricciuto and Chris Dittmar. That they also apologise for the important factual error contained in their broadcast and deeply regrets any distress that this may have caused Mr Rasmussen and his family.

Our Lawyer has been brilliant and wanted to keep going with the social media side of things as well. Tony and I are just glad this part is over. Lets hope this saga has not done anymore damage to this wonderful industry than it needs.

Most of all, a message to everyone out there. Stand up for what you believe in, dont be afraid to fight the big ones for what is true.
We have to stick together to stop Media sensationalism on anything to do with our beloved dogs. We dont need threads like this spreading viscous thoughts and incorrect statements. If we keep doing things like this then our industry will certainly fail.

Ps if anyone needs a lawyer I can give you the number of a really good one
