Previous bad decisions made by previous IGB e.g. The building of Limerick stadium with handshake agreements are beginning to pale in comparison to decisions being made by the present crew.
The minister must step in NOW today and take over from this board.
Time will prove that their actions in the past couple of weeks are CORRUPT and
DETRIMENTAL to the Greyhound industry.
I call on as many people as possible to email Minister Doyle and let him know we are
being ransacked by our IGB. In fairness to him he actually reads his emails and acknowledges them unlike the Igb who I can promise you do not acknowledge or respond to emails.

Get the legals in now ... In the meantime let's picket the cross.

Alan Ken Mick Jimmy DGOBA you are seriously overestimating the morality of Brady and Co , Fight fire with fire .

What is going on with the injunction, has anybody from DGOBA actually made an application for an injuction or just idly talking about it?
By the sounds of it there will be nothing left of Harolds Cross by the time it sees a high court judge.

I agree with Pascal that an all out strike will be more detrimental to the sport than helpful right now, however it seems igb are happy with a sit out of spk for the foresable.
Now time comes to turn up the heat on igb imo. Maybe a daily picket an lockout outside hx?
Try keep them out from doing any more damage!

Liam - what about the owners that are going to Thurles sales tomorrow to sell? Maybe in need of money?

I did say this is an emergency .

I don't want to take any money from my fellow greyhound man/woman .
So tommorow is a non starter. But future sales at this venue are definately fair game in my book . Owners wishing to sell in future should know I will push for this again and maybe they should consider another track Sales. Fighting DIRTY and targeting specific targets is a must in my opinion.

Couple of ideas.

1) Harolds Cross stadium should be reoccupied and a peaceful sit in commenced to stop further destruction.

2) The peaceful protests should be brought to the front door of the directors homes.

Hi Liam,
I don't agree with picketing the sales .
We need everyone to contact the politicians.
Only political power will bring change at this stage.
At the end of the day the buck stops with Minister Doyle and Minister Creed.
This is going to come back to "bite " them big time and they will be judged on their actions in this matter for the rest of their political careers.
Over to you Minister Doyle and Minister Creed.
Please let them know your opinions.

While I agree the politicians are responsible in the end . I think it's too late when HX has been leveled and politicians sacked or dicredited. That result is no good for the dog man/woman.

We must have everything proper and correct when we stand in front of a High Court Judge. I have been working with the Barrister and Solicitor providing information to put together a case. You must accept the fact that because the Board are a shower of bully's, we are not and therefore we will carry out our business in accordance with the law of the land. There is a name for people who strike in the middle of the night and rob your goods. Their called The IRISH GREYHOUND BOARD.
We will be meeting the Judge very soon.
More destruction in Harolds Cross today. I phoned Minister Andrew Doyle to day however no call back as of 5.05pm.
We are thinking of holding an over 80's day at Harolds Cross. Those involved in Breeding,Owning and Training Greyhounds who are over 80 years of age would be asked to gather at the gates of "THEIR STADIUM" Harolds Cross, early next week. Date and Time to be announced over the weekend.
< edit by Admin> I feel OUR FAMILIES have been suffering since Dr Brady decided to treat us like we were SUGAR Men and Women. His Get OUT, Locked OUT, Stay OUT attitude wont cut any ice with the DUBS.
Perhaps Dr Brady and Phil Meaney could explain to the patrons of Harolds Cross and Shelbourne Park why there are no Dogs running at either track. Also explain to the Minister and the PAC as to how a company loosing as much money as they are can afford to close Race nights in Shelbourne Park. The DGOBA and The FEDERATION will explain to the Minister on your behalf, assuming he decides to speak with US. I have no doubt Minister Doyle is working with the IGB Board to Bankrupt the Industry. Furthermore Mr Doyle would not make these decisions without the go ahead from his Boss, Mr Creed. In turn Mr Creed would not make these decisions without the say so of his Boss, Phil Hogan. One thing is for sure Phil Hogan is the Boss of Agriculture and he is prevent his election agent Mr Phil Meaney from being removed from the Board.
As for the Board, the latest I hear is that the services of the Boards long standing solicitors in Limerick have been replaced by a firm in Cork. Small coincidence the Solicitor sitting on the IGB Board is also a member of the firm of Solicitors now representing the Irish Greyhound Board. Friend of Mr Coveney? The W banker appointed is from Bank of Ireland, surly it would possibly help the Boards case if they had an AIB official on the Board. Further proof that they have no intention of working in the Interest of the Greyhound Folk.
More bad publicity for the Greyhound Industry, on Tuesday night, Grainne intends to put the boot in. Unfortunately this is not an audience participation program. I wouldn't mind having DJ Histon Histon as a spokesman for the IGB, he done a great job for the Coursing fraternity on Claire Byrne recently. However our stuttering fools at the head of the IGB probably would refuse to attend. If they did they would send some lackey to get his arse kicked. They are probably to busy making up stories for the Public Accounts Committee hearing. No doubt Miss Larkin will get the blame from them now that her cheque for silence has been paid.
I'm propped up in the armchair full of pain killers as a result of a fall I had yesterday. I should be at Shelbourne Park supporting my Greyhound Family. Hopefully I will be fit for tomorrow night.
Life Goes On.

Alan/Liam is there any benefit in running a well crafted statement in the National newspapers informing the public of the cause? Many of us are contributing to a 'fighting fund' and taking our message to the general public puts further pressure on the actions of those in power?

I think it's a good idea as long as it's done correctly pulls no punches and tells all.
