Hi guys, you may or may not be aware of what is currently happening in Ireland.

Basically the Irish Greyhound Board are now closing tracks without consultation with owners and trainers or any of the Owner and Trainer groups.

Sound familiar? yes it is exactly the way Mr. Baird tried to stop racing in New South Wales.

We now need to raise funds:

1. To help people that will go through financial hardship due to the Irish Greyhound Boards actions; and

2. To put funds aside to be used to fight the decision via the media and in the courts.

I will post bank details once this has been set up so that donations can be made directly into this fund.

I would also ask that a small committee please be put in place to distribute the funds. I would like to be involved in this committee and would also insist all is totally transparent.

Greyhound-Data will be running Auctions to raise funds so if you have anything to donate please post it in this thread or email me [email protected]

All of Ireland are united in fighting for justice and transparency from the IGB (Irish Greyhound Board) so I am asking all of our members from around the world to unite and support OUR fight.

Just a suggestion but might be worth setting up a Paypal account, then it will be free to transfer money from other countries. A bank transfer to an Irish bank from the UK and other countries usually incurs a hefty charge, 25 in the case of my bank.

I will contribute half of my old age pension this week 115.00 to embarrass this board who will probably defend this case using tax payers money, shame on them.
