The Fighting Funds is growing and after converting the funds from the donation we received in other currencies to euro and minus what PayPal take, we have a balance of 3,781.67 EUR.
Well done everyone and thank your for your support.
Myself and my wife donated a pup and decided to do a bonus ball draw to get a maximum return for the fund. 59 balls sold at 20 a ball on the Greyhound racers and Gigi's Facebook pages. All moneys will be collected in by 2 o clock tommorie and will clear from PayPal by Friday. I'll give the money made from the raffle to mick o keefe on Friday on the picket line.

Just a quick thank you to everybody who helped with the bonus ball. We've had people from southern and Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales commit themselves to buying a bonus ball to help with finances to take this to the high court and get some type of injunction on the closure of harrolds criss, in the hope that we can get the answers we need.
The volume of support on this from all over Ireland and the uk shows that we are united in our fight to save our industry, and that we truly believe we can, otherwise people wouldn't give the way you all have today.
This board is ignorant, they won't meet, they won't talk and they'll do just about anything they can, like abort the gold cup, in the hope they will cause a divide between us.
We can do this if we all stick together, in fighting for my lively hood, for my love for all things greyhounds, but most of all I'm fighting for my family's future. Anybody that knows me, knows how much we love and adore our dogs and our industry, and although there's a lot of people diverting their kids away from the industry, as much as I try, I can't divert mine, it's in their make up, they've greyhound folk on both sides.
So I want to thank you all personally for giving towards our industry, but more importantly, our children's future.
