Apparently The GBOTA VS, McHugh Report case which was to be heard in the nsw supreme court this month HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED
No reason or further news has been published,

There could be only 2 conclusions to your statement Bill regarding the McHUGH REPORT being DISCONTINUED.
1. That NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, has recognized that the report is totally floored, and she has officially withdrawn it. Or
2. Those that are representing our industry & contesting the report have gone mad.

. If Bill is correct, the court case has been discontinued, not the Report, more than likely by the Plaintiff (Alliance) n not the Respondent (Govt). Der. . The only plausible explanation is the Industry is back, albeit for the next three years so why bother pushing ahead with it unless there is another backflip. It was to be used to Can the Ban !

The Alliance had already lost Round One, but it doesn't mean it can't be revisited. I don't like the Alliance for many reasons and only trying to offer an explanation because they will be slow to respond. . I'm not in the inner sanctum. If I were ...... I'd be handling contact with participants much better by way of consultation.

We deserve the facts from the GBOTA or The Alliance: Were they requested to do so by the Govt.? If so are there concrete promises for doing so?(If not why not) Or did the GBOTA decide not to pursue the action for financial reasons? (Lets not forget that a lot of Trainers & Owners money went in the bucket to fund this action.) We deserve a quick smart explanation from both the GBOTA & the Alliance.

I am sure Mark that's exactly what the Alliance, GBOTA will state! However the 120 odd new recommendations being placed upon us come from the McHugh report. Picking the eye's out of it. If it was that accurate and comprehensive ACCEPT everything. Including revisiting the ICA, and Tax Parity allocations. The Raping and Pillaging is being allowed to continue! Now under a NEW BRIGHT REFORM PANEL.

Surely there is someone out there aligned to the GBOTA/ALLIANCE who could keep participants informed when something major happens like this , we as the major stakeholders in this industry deserve better that what we are receiving . A lot of good people put time and money into helping get the ban reversed , it was not just one person or group that achieved this result but up to this point it seems like only a select few have any real idea what is happening leaving the rest to guess which only help start rumours , its about time the PTB treated ALL participants with the respect they deserve or is it our industry heads are now running what everyone accused Baird of running......a dictatorship
