Attention all Brandywell Greyhound Racing Supporters.
You are invited to a meeting at the Longtower Youth Club on Monday 24th July at 6:30pm to establish a supporters group and nominate and appoint a committee for the group.
The prime function will be to promote racing at Brandywell. The title of the committee will also be selected at this meeting.
The Longtower Youth Club is situated directly behind Brandywell greyhound track.
Thank you to everyone who attended tonight's meeting at the Long Tower.
The Brandywell Greyhound Racing Supporters Group has been founded, based on the wishes of a 40+ strong crowd who attended. More details on tonight's meeting will follow shortly.
Brandywell Greyhound Racing Supporters Group (BGRSG) founded.
On the 24th July 2017 a group of 40+ Brandywell racing supporters voted to form the BGRSG.
A Committee was appointed consisting of 7 members;
Chair: Lynda Bonner
Secretary: Seamus McCloskey
Treasurer: Stephanie English
Committee Members; Thomas Hassan, Patsy Doyle, Derek Edgar and Stephen Radcliffe.
The Committees overall vision is to promote all aspects of the unique experience of greyhound racing at Brandywell as part of the City of Derrys sporting and cultural heritage. More specific objectives will be set by the Committee at their first meeting.
