Steven,

Yes. A couple - one when sighting a roving rabbit and another when chasing a bird somewhere.

I got the impression its attention was distracted by something unknown. It was not a normal FTC.

Totally agree Bruce, something got his UNDIVIDED attention didn't just ease, but stopped abruptly. Didn't seem he wanted to play or fight. Perhaps someone had a whistle, or played one of those Rabbit mimics on their phone somewhere near the fence. More to it than met the eye I think.

maybe the dog is shy of the spectators near the finish line
he has run some pretty good races at warragul and cranbourne
where the race track is inside a trotting track
much further from the spectators

Greyhounds Australia and the state members who make up the Board ignore FOL statistics, they are anti greyhound welfare,Qld is the prime example of ignoring statistics ,a level playing field is not on their agenda, they are more concerned about keeping their GAP programs going and the Greens happy.

That would have to be one of the most vicious & blatant attacks I've even seen AJ.
If my dog was drawn in the same race as this dog, I'd bloody scratch in a heartbeat... & I'd tell the truth when asked for a reason.

I don't think there was any wrong doing by the second greyhound, but I have never seen a dog sit down and still win the race. See race 12 at Shepparton tonight, and the photo finish shot.

Furthermore Anthony this was an advertised Vic Breeders series in which the grader thought it was a good idea to only put on 3 heats of which this dog got a run, yet left out 3 first starters...

I think it's time we started adding streamers, tinsel & glitter to the lure....because the latest bullsh1t regulations don't seem to be working.
