there certainly is a distinct lack of interest this year , both from here and over there , its been a difficult year for the dogs here in aus , and no end in sight , and its getting harder not easier ,

anyway the draw is below , good luck to all , i will not be in Ireland for it this year ,

From IGB website : Following his tough passage through the Getting Out Race on Saturday night, Tyrur Shays name did not figure among the entries for the Irish Derby. Also Late withdrawals were Ela Alecko, Dunsallagh Mike and the UK runner Danzey Exception

I think Clares Rocket will win quite easily but at 7/1 its a bit short. Whoops Jack at 50/1 is great value. Second fastest time of the year. Not many greyhounds can do 29.27 around Shelbourne. But if it doesnt break once then it won't qualify which is why he is the price he is

Draw dependent Native Chimes if he is lucky getting the inside. I hope our fella can keep qualifying Droopys De Rossi

Hi gary i was in spk on saturday and de rossi must have been the unlucky dog on the night just clipped at the wrong moment at 2nd bend other wise he would have done a massive run

Anyways good luck throughout the derby

Hi Peter,
He was very unlucky and I had him down for a 2970 ish run on Saturday. Hopefully tomorrow night he has a clear run behind Whoops jack to qualify.

I think the easiest is to register with Barking Buzz and pay a euro bet for each heat to see the live stream

Its shocking that no one is broadcasting it! Even if the Shelbourne Facebook page shared a live stream it would be great. I'm sure there is a lot people at home who are dying to see supposedly the IGBs flagship event.

(He ran well) is that all lol

I thought he was absolutely brilliant couldnt have done it any better the way he ran that 3rd bend and didnt miss a stride was impressive by all means and yes with a clear he could be hard to keep out of the top3
