JQ ..Was it a Wood Duck ..
The Wood Duck is a medium-sized duck with a short head. It is light coloured with dark head. Males have black belly and pale grey flanks. Females have a white belly and mottled grey flanks. Females have two white stripes on the face.
I think i seen two White stripes so it must of been a Female Woody ..Terry ...IMO But i could be wrong ....
The Black Duck on the other hand is an average-sized duck that looks a bit like a Mallard duck. The body is dark-brown with a pale face and throat. It has a distinctive black eye-stripe that stretches from the top of the bill through the eye. The male and female have a similar appearance. It has iridescent green patch on wing.
I did see a quick flash of green but then again it happened so bloody fast ...

Kev. The white stripes you saw were from the dog. He was wearing a number 2 vest. So as he headbutted the duck, it probably looked like a white striped female woody. But you are correct mate, it was a woody. Hey I wonder if Laurie Levy eats rice? Coz every year in the rice fields around Hay NSW, shooters go out and protect the crop by blasting away hundreds of hungry ducks.

Rice fields JQ are getting decimated by WILD ducks and each year they destroy an estimated 1 Bill in Grain crops around Australia ....

Mark, Being Mexican I didn't know what the F N face joke was until F N Terry explained it. I vaguely now remember something on the news down here probably the weekend edition on 10 that comes from Sydney where us Victorians get to find out somebody got food poisoning at a Kebab shop in La Kemba, the surfs up at Coogee, The Everest horse race stopped the nation and a stupid name given to a Sydney Harbour Ferry. The stupid trend dates back the ship in the UK the people voted to be called Boaty Macboat Face. Then there was the race horse called Horsey MacHorse Face .
