Champagne Sally today broke Queen Lauryns long standing (2008) track record at Ipswich today in 29.97. She adds the 520m record to the 630m which she also holds.

The girl can BURN.

Ray must have found something after her last 2 very disappointing runs that finished at the tail of the field at headquarters.

Class will always shine in the end.

Well done Ray.

PS....They always seem to go sour after a stint down south.

Just talking to Mary Burman
She and Ray had two runners in the race when Queen Lauryn set the previous track record back in 2008

I can feel a story comin on lol.

Happy New Year David.

PS....The Chuckster is coming along nicely. No clocks yet. Too bloody hot. Just taking it slowly but he's ticked every box with a perfect score so far ;-)

& Sally backs it up, 5 days later at Albion Pk over the 600m & does it again to record her 3rd Track Record.

She's certainly found a purple patch in her career.

Another superb run, what effort to break 2 records at 2 distances and at 2 different tracks in less than a week.

I was thinking a nice 600 somewhere but with running 520 sub 30 ippy she's competitive in nearly ANY race, Jim.

Id go ahead and guarantee will get a rookie rebel start. The 1 box seems to be a big advantage for her though.

Maybe some of the Trotting fraternity can be arranged to oversee that particular box draw in time.
I have some brown paper bags spare if needed lol.
