Good to see some common sense from Grv in regards to today's meeting at Warnambool
AMENDED START TIME FOR WARRNAMBOOL TONIGHT - SATURDAY 6TH JANUARY. 06/01/2018
Please be advised that in accordance with the GRV Hot Weather policy, tonight's Warrnambool meeting has been postponed by two races with the first race now scheduled to commence at 7:17 pm.

Don't be fooled...although I do applaud the move GRV made when it comes to $$$ & the vacancy. Commonsense has prevailed here & on more than one occasion. Firstly they CANNED a meeting that was supposed to be racing during the PRIME Saturday timeslot, & transferred it to Friday (another prime timeslot) due to the GRV Hot Weather policy. So why didn't they cancel (or transfer) the Warrnambool Race Meeting that was programmed 2 races before The Meadows Meet? Because the meeting was not as important & by holding off, a prime timeslot was there to be taken...even if it was only 2 races later.
