I was just wondering if by any chance was there anybody else not asked to buy one of the new lottery tickets on sale at the CLONMEL TRACK last night or was it only the people that were sitting at the same table as myself.
It's a great start to the so called friends of clonmel group it's great that they can pick and choose who they sell tickets to.insidently there was a meeting called in early December by this group and there was no mention of this lotto but there was a lot of criticism of the clonmel track supporters club by the people who seem to be running this lotto I hope they put as much effort into it as the people that were sitting at the table in question did to covering and uncovering the track on the frosty nights gone by.
I hope it goes better than the out come of that meeting because at that meeting a proposal that was seconded and voted on and carried that a committee be put together comprising of two people from each of the following clonmel greyhound track tipperary GOBA clonmel track supporters club and two independent shareholders of the track this committee was not allowed to be formed because the directors of the track didn't want certain people on this committee so if this is the way they are going to do things we are in a sad state of affairs one last thing I spoke to a person that had purchased a ticket when that person asked what the money's raised from this lottery was going the reply was that the person selling the tickets didn't know so what are people supporting
