If we want to go further and take them to court we need to hire a sound engineer for $15,000, a town planner for $10,000 plus a lawyer which would cost another $15,000.

The first question put to the court should be
"Can the council produce to this court Lawful Commonwealth documents and any relevant legislation passed through Parliament which gives them authority over what I can and cannot do on my own land"

They cant 'because no legislation exists.

I personally know this couple & they are good people.

Steve's a sparky & teaches at the local TAFE college. Was the President of the Bundaberg Racing club for 3 or 4 years until last financial year where he stepped down, probably to concentrate on this problem.

Louise is a greyhound NUT. She'd probably push Steve off a cliff before any of her babies...she loves them that much, lol.

What the council has done to them after going through the process to a tee is simply incomprehensible.

If you knew where they lived (cattle country) & took into consideration all the land they own there...you'd be definitely scratching your head with the outcome.

I believe its the neighbor from hell to one side that has made it even more difficult to obtain the extra dogs permit. And that neighbor is only renting.

Is it possible to re word -building kennels to building sheds and use the council termanology to get approval. If no one is upfront with the participants true requests, then we should use their rules against them.Plenty of builders in sydney twisting council laws and planning to get things done that the common folk can not.
Speak to a builder in the area and see what they say?
It's no good using common sense when talking to nit wits in councils.
