A much larger figure than that was involved in the Gosford track reconstruction and building the new premises (can't be called a grandstand). Not sure of the split. Not sure if Council contributed but probably little or nothing.
The facility is used for many miscellaneous community purposes but they are not substantial (bar the previous speedway operation). Harness training stopped years ago.
Wonder what will need to be done to Maitland after tonight's monster truck show on the infield, with the crowd all over the dog track on chairs etc. What will they leave behind?

Yep i herd wenty was going to be dug up why i just dont know its been in fine shape since they put Bungendore sand back on it was great for the easter egg we have had less injuries since it was fixed so why is the ???.
On the Gosford front was told friend was there two days ago & it was still all dug up so i cant see racing there for some time yet.
