Many of the great dogs of the past in Australia , both racing and breeding wise, were grandsons of Temlee over daughters of Temlee. Walkabout Sid sire of Head Honcho is bred this way and came from a litter of nine, six of which broke track records if my memory is correct. Several of the litter went on to become top sires . Interestingly in a poll in the late ninetys they were voted the litter of the century.
As with any inbreeding it should only be done to outstanding animals, why duplicate mediocracy.

And the great Aussie race and stud dogs New Tears and Ginger were both bred on a 3x2 of Temlee in the same position.
