Few may know that Greyhound Racing in Northern Ireland has been caught in a catch 22 which results in tracks receiving NO FINANCIAL SUPPORT from Ireland or Britain. Others may be able to explain why neither has a responsibility to treat us fairly we just know without help Greyhound racing in Northern Ireland is a threatened species.

Rather than complain we are trying to help ourselves and would appreciate support from the world wide greyhound community.

As one of our initiatives the Brandywell Greyhound Supporters Club are selling tickets at 10 to win a Greyhound Sappling Whelped 23 July 2017.

The bitch will be 9 months old at the time of the draw which is scheduled for the Final of the Danny McCann Ulster 500 on 4th of June.(must be picked up within 4 days of draw, or arrangements made for transport flexibility may be available)

All money raised less expenses (bitch Donated) will be distributed by the Brandywell Greyhound Supporters Club in accordance with our stated objectives of supporting Greyhounds and Greyhound Racing etc.

Money generated will support race and competition prize money at Brandwell and the first major competition to be supported by the Supporters Club will be the Danny McCann Ulster 500 (Note details of competition is posted elsewhere).

Please buy tickets and support the Greyhound Supporters Club so we can help the Greyhounds and Greyhound people in the North west of Ireland. Please contact me Seamus 0044 7721562217 or Lynda Bonner (Greyhound Data team) Maybe you could sell tickets if so please ring.
