While the antis are always telling everyone about what goes in inside a track kennel they have never worked in one or visited one. You can't just walk into a greyhound racing kennel because you need security clearance.

What the local industry desperately needs is more stuff like this, preferably with mum and pups, put together professionally and offered to the public.
We once had a travelling caravan which did this sort of thing in major shopping centres (Uncle Bens' feeds) but it ran out of puff and budget and has not been seen for years. GAP helps but it is not enough.

I agree that this type of publicity, marketed properly, is vital for the future of our sport
It flies in the face of what some politicians from the Greens and Anti-Racing Groups want the general public to believe
Most people aren't stupid, if they are exposed to this type of positive interaction with greyhounds and their carers, i.e. real people with real dogs, then they will quickly make up their mind who are the scammers and evil people in our society

I think all over the world we are finally fighting back. I have said this for a long time, In the absence of truth people believe lies, they have no other choice.
Getting our side out on FB and other social media sites if finally being done and it is a slow process because the antis have had a huge head start, but one person at a time and you just try and chip away.

Dick, such a great video mate and I agree with all the comments above. We in Australia are (or should be) aware of the fight Florida are having at the moment. Face books " Paint the Trail " has been fantastic over here for the awareness of what is going on over there,, how can we help? Are there sites we can access to "vote" or at least add a voice to the cause?

The vote will be on the Florida ballot in November so there is no poll, at the moment, that you can go to and vote on, but if there is one I will be sure to post it.
Jeff, from Paint The Trail, has been great. He was anti-racing until he saw with his own eyes. He was invited into the kennels at Sanford Orlando and there were no restrictions as to what he could or couldn't video.
Once he saw for himself he is now our biggest advocate.
If you go to Steve's Grey2Kscam FB page EXTERNAL LINK you will see a lot of Jeff's paintings at the top of the page and Steve always goes after G2K and the HSUS people pretty had with facts not lies.
My advice is learn from our mistakes. We were always reactive to what the antis posted and never were proactive. People now do things like the video from Stave I posted to start this thread.
