Not bad for a dog who was "retired" to Stud for several months, and is basically still working back to full fitness.
Smashed the record, and on a night where despite the quality fields, the times weren't all that fast overall. Did it from Box 5 too ... and only worked to the lead at the turn out of the straight.
Congratulations to connections; and best of luck going into the Group 1 Final up here next week.
PS: Interestingly, his sire (Barcia Bale) was also the sire of the former Track Record holder (Dyna Double One).

Chris there is a Table below the Pedigree Blood Quota / Double Ancestores, within it you will see 18.8 % Brett Lee !

Whats so magic about it Mark? Any 4 x 3 or 3 x 4 combo of Brett Lee(or any other dog) = 18.8%
The fig is simply made up by Brett Lee blood :
if in the 1st gen being 50% if in the 2nd gen being 25% if in the 3rd gen being 12.5% if in the 4th gen being 6.25%
so if you had a 4x3 of Brett Lee as in this case its 6.25% plus 12.5% = 18.75% (rounded up to one decimal place = 18.8%)
It wld be far more significant for example if you went onto say that 5 out of 6 blood duplications of Brett Lee at 18.8% were arguably city grade performers and list the evidence there of, but just saying 18.8% is a magic no doesn't carry much relevance does it?

Hi Ryan i would place a lot more relevance in the 18.8 % than one of your nicks 10 or more generations back in a pedigree !
