Wow
That was good ...........
He is Fernandos first legitimate son that contains all the qualities thats needed at stud

Breeding is special ,size perfect ! But most importantly his quality to show enough guts to push through where most these days would have fallen or eased out

Good tough chase

No more 9k needed to get your fernando injection ! He has just capped himself !
Plus giving you more alternative lines in Knocka Norris and Larkhill Jo

I prefer the bear over Fernando , just my opinion

When would his straws be available out of curiosity?

Hi Nathan. I've tipped against the BEAR on quite a few occasions when he's been drawn awkwardly, only to watch him win with a bit of luck early with his forward chasing abilities.

He's a serious chaser and will get his fair share of bitches once he retires if priced correctly.....But he's not even 3 yet so let hope he continues to race for another 12 months where he can defend his TOPGUN victory.

I highly doubt that straws will ever be available.

Are you saying he has no testicles?

I'm very confident he doesn't which is a shame. They certainly aren't dangling.

Hope it isn't a common thing with Fernando bale pups. As much as I'm not a fan of Fernando bale it would be a shame for breeders if both of his top sons have no testicles.

It's not his stats that don't impress me, it's the fact that I have not seen one pup of his that had a good style about it. Whether it be barking, messing their kennels, not chasing in a field, not chasing consistently, not having any ability or something else, they all seem to have a bad quirk.

Yeah definitely the most important thing is speed, but there is no use having all the ability if it isn't shown without having a vet on side.

Anyway we've got off topic. We meant to be discussing weather poke the bear is going to make it at stud or not. Yeah he was very impressive last Saturday, but it won't help him at stud if he was born without the nessarary equipment

Nah. Thanks for the offer but you can keep all your dogs Mark. (sorry, you made it too easy)

I actually think out of range will go ok at stud because he will add a bit of stamina

Fair enough, I deserved that. Good luck with them, I'm more than happy to be wrong. It's only my opinion and to be honest, my opinion probably doesn't count for much in the scheme of things.

Hi Colin,

I can unfortunately confirm Poke the Bear hasn't got the necessary equipment to make it at stud.

Out of Range has and has unfortunately been retired due to a broken stopper at Cranbourne in his last start ( which he still won ).

He is a full litter brother and has won 2 Group 1's over 500 and a Group 2 over 600.

He will be available early next month.
