For pups remote controlled car/ truck no strings/ ropes etc to cause injury
Used in a large open area pups love chasing it and speeds up to 60 kms it's plenty fast . And inbuilt squeakers which you control remotely . Best thing I ever bought
You can tie a lure to the back but usually don't need it

Can also. Be used in comptetion runs car in one run dog in the other

The drag lure I bought consisted of a car starter motor fixed to a metal frame. I could have made one for a fraction of the price I paid. Car starter motors are available cheaply from any car breakers and a blacksmith or small engineering company can make a frame. All you then need is a push button switch and a wheel on which to wind the cord. Connect to a car battery and you are away 50 to 100 should suffice and considerable less for a competent DIY person.
