Hi all,
This may seem like a silly question to many of you, however, I am wondering about the best way to see young dogs that are yet to be named but are broken in run a trail and thus make an offer to buy if you feel its worth it?
I ask this as so often the trails after the races are not open to the public (faif enough yes) yet if you are looking too buy the trails are often the best part to watch. How does one find out about these? Is it best put an ad here on Data saying wantkng too buy and ask for dog to be trailed for you? I personally would prefer to see a number of trails and if I see something I like make approaxh owner and make an offer.
Hope I have made sense.
Thanks

They do have ready to race auctions or sales at some tracks at different times. Contact your states governing body to find out more. Cheers

Best place is probably Ballarat trials. Go out in the morning and watch, then if you see something you like wander over to the trainer and have a chat to them

Thanks Sam. Next time I am down that way I might stop in.
Would Richmond or Gosford be a similar thing here in NSW?

Quite a bit of trial information when you type into google ;
Gosford greyhound trials & Richmond greyhound trials along with the clubs number so you can call them directly to see if that information is still current. Myself being in Victoria know nothing about NSW trial information.

Thanks for the tip Micheal. I didnt think about contacting the clubs directly.
I would imagin that clubs, trainers snd ot her owners would welcome someone to come and watch if they are thinking about spending some cash.
