Its providing a place for slower or less competitive dogs whose participants are living nearby like an hour or so away. Its providing an opportunity to race dogs? If everyone didnt take slower dogs, the industry would contract faster than you could say, McRobertson. There are plenty of slower dogs racing on TAB tracks because trainers are living nearby those tracks, but they soon push them to other trainers. If there are only 14-16 tracks then those other trainers wont exist. The industry contracts. We are supposed to be a viable industry....

All trainers travel more than an hour to tracks I thought c class was for that type of dog we all have different types of dogs fast and slower ones prize money should be lifted for all of them but grading to suit.

Some trainers travel up to four to six hours one way, but they soon move dogs on if the cant win / place or they stop travelling every week. If tracks close trainers travel further or not all. We need both and $500 per win at non-TAB isnt much to ask when $1500 is now the p/m for TAB B/C.

MARK People travel 6 hours to race where do they live, I think all the owners and trainers know that most of the country tracks are going to go but we have to hope that the ones that are left pay good money and that it is within of a couple of hours to get to.

If theyre chasing A1 p/m they do. A dog mightnt like a track so one has to go elsewhere to accomodate the dog and/or trainer to chase better p/m.
