Dave, by your Chairman appearing in and supporting the RT hatchet job, your organization showed their contempt for the greyhound game and its supporters.
Whatever legal footing you may believe you have, you have no moral right to attempt to speak for the greyhound folk.

For the sake of the future of the game, please step aside.
I hope Wednesdays meeting is a huge success.

Haven't posted on here in ages, but it's beyond belief why would any greyhound person would be part of that RtE programme/hatchet job..
Now could someone please update me on the 2 federations, how many different GOBA's do each have affiliated and what overall membership would that entail for both??

Hi all
I read data keep up with news but what news
Seems to me same old same repeating and re repeating but getting nowhere
I am simply a moderate trainer who wants to race dogs of equal calibration as a hobby
Where are there any representatives for us and when I say us we the guys in the floor with no say keep the industry going
Time passes tracks close but is it not time that someone in our ranks has a say to keep our industry going
Not for politics or fame but simply Love of the game
I am so frustrated
am I alone

PS They need to find a new chairman first to chair their meeting as the other one has decided to flee before the shit hits the fan.

Mollie before you go spouting off like the other heads on here please show me one post where I claim to speak for other greyhound folk, I say what i believe in while most people on here agree with what the board have been allowed to get away with and have supported the board and have stood back idly and watched helplessly as certain individuals employed within have slowly decimated this industry.
People are claiming that what the Chairman of the IGOBF CLG took part in has caused this industry to go down the swany, what a load of bullshit,RTE are the hatchets here no one else, the people on Data have for years allowed the IGB to continue to run the greyhound industry into the ground without ever challenging them, now look at the state of things, you cant blame me or anyone else for that only the inept IGB for their failure to deal with issues which were highlighted by the IGOBF mant times the very people you are all crucifying, Instead of playing the blame game take your heads out of the IGBs arses and go and sort out the many problems & issues we have, the only people standing in your way and allowing you to progress forward are yourselves no one else, I look forward to hearing about your achievements. Good luck to you all.

Dave, I have followed your posts for some time and have admired your steadfast stance. However, the chairman of the group you are a member of appearance on the RT program was unforgivable. He, and by default your group, have crossed a line that many find unforgivable.

If you don't claim to speak for other greyhound folk then what exactly is the point in all this?

'other greyhound folk' need someone to speak for them more than ever.

If you don't have an interest in doing this then please step out of the way and let someone else before it's too late. The industry is on a knife edge & it's far too late in the day for personal vendettas.

And as for your imaginary drug situation this is just another avenue for you and your RTE Federation to take down the sport people now know your agenda and after yer RTE performance ye have lost the support and respect of the people in this industry do yourself a favor and jog on cause your input is not welcome,

28 that agree now Dave and counting Dave I think everyone in this industry is of the same opinion of your federation and its actions all except you Tony Walsh and the the other 3 that make up the intire federation surly ye can see what was done was so wrong I think Tony Walsh owes the entire industry an apology and I think ye should step down with out the support of the industry ye have no purpose,

What I see is a Goba you say is a sham working their ass off to save this industry and how dare you call these people a sham their the absolute salt of the earth,

Netflix.

An eye opener. Watch it if you can. Public opinion can be manipulated so easily now.

Scotland the key to ending UK dog racing.
Christine GREY 2k. 5 minutes in to video. Worth a listen. They have millions of dollars behind then in funds. None of it goes to adoption.
