Where is Hilary?? Why was she put on extended leave?? She is a qualified solicitor and was appointed by the IGB in 2014 and introduced a new testing regime designed to catch trainers using illegal substances such as cocaine, and it is believed she had voiced concerns about penalties imposed on trainers found guilty of using illegal substances. Something else the IGB should be answerable to.
Everyone in the IGB who are not pulling their weight which appears to be the majority, need to be replaced with people who understand the industry, not people on there because they are a friend of a friend, not people that could not give a toss except for what they are financially getting out of it. The industry needs to be running a clean ship and all the cheats and the people covering for them gone forever. We need a person like Hilary Forde who wanted to clean up the sport, but for that reason she was obviously targeted by the ones on the board who are covering up. The carpet must be splitting with everything that has been swept under it.
Both Geraldine & Hilary would have been good people to have working within our industry, but unfortunately Geraldine left with a confidentiality clause in her payoff so we will never know what took place. Hilary upset the big chief and has supposedly taken out a court case against him and that is why she has remained out of duty and once again we are the big loosers in this saga, we need Hilary back asap to replace HOR.
