Just heard on #RPGTV the death of the legendary voice of Greyhound Racing Michael Fortune sincere condolences to all his family & friends. The sport of Greyhound racing has lost a true friend & legend #RIP

My condolences. Generously allowed me to call a race at Shelburne the Australian way. Very professional and I liked the way he highlighted the best attributes of each dog in the pre race parade.

So sorry to hear about Michael, he was truly a lovely man always taking time for chat an a laugh. His commentary was just fantastic always made the race so exciting.

Brilliant commentator was the voice of Greyhound racing will be hugely missed by the sport and impossible to replace my favorite race he ever commentated on was yeah man and group rooster if anyone can posted it be great RIP Michael fortune my toughts and prayers are with you and your family...

Exceptional commentator with fantastic in depth knowledge of each greyhound....RIP Michael.

Hard to beat his commentary on College Causeway's Irish Derby victory in 2009......brilliant

Met Michael on his first visit to Australia, then again each of the 3 times I visited Ireland. A great loss . Rip Michael..My condolences to Michaels family. God bless you old friend.
