I think this was a good response from the board, it made headlines in all the papers about how vile the antis are, I think it showed the neutral what the antis are really about. John, if there was any crowd that bowed to the antis it was red Mills, would you agree.

Good question John. They will stand shoulder to shoulder with their owners at the weekend and soak up some of the abuse. And they will launch in to a belated attack on RTE and shred the majority of issues raised in the programme and demand an apology and possibly compensation going forward. Thats if Carlsberg did greyhound racing Ireland.
Or..... They can head up to their Suite on Saturday night.
Get on the front foot guys, get political and attack them for denying your freedoms.
Also demonstrate the care and love you have for your dogs
Also whenever they use old or fake information these need to be uncovered for what they are, brainwashing tactics
You need to get the media and the politicians on your side to present your side of the argument and in turn you will show the general public how subversive and dangerous these people are to modern society

This needs to be happening fast and be organized well and all participants in Ireland need to get behind it to provide the united front

Board have engaged a PR company now it seems. Can't help but wonder how HRI would react if racegoers attending the Leopardstown races Were being called animal abusers as they attended the track. (Assuming a similar equine"public interest" programme had been aired. Frankly if you wanted to downsise our industry by say 33% not challenging in a meaningful way the lies and spin in the programme would be exactly the way to do it. Semi State Agencies Semi State Agencies are state owned enterprises, that are technically commercially run, which are beneficially owned by the Irish Government.

You also need to get the equine industry on board with this,
They have the money, the power and the political connections to help
if these vile no-hopers have a victory on the working class soft-touch greyhound industry who do you think will be next
Protecting the dogs gives them a buffer, They worked it out pretty quickly here in NSW when they started getting attacked
Good point Sandro on the equine industry. One of the groups protesting and peddling misinformation is called the party for animal welfare. Part of their manifesto is banning jump racing. Of course all horse racing would follow as that industry has exactly the same issues as greyhound racing.

No problem Paul I have no input in to what redmills do as I'm retired.however I can see its the greyhound owners that seem to be doing everything to defend our sport don't she much from the powers that be just my opinion Paul.
