What a magnificent announcement ffor the participants in the Grafton and Northern Rivers area of NSW

Long been recognized as one of the traditional homes of greyhound racing in NSW it is only fitting that this track was able to secure such a major redevelopment for the region

The committee of the Club & GRNSW must be congratulated for their efforts but a big thank you to Chris Gulaptis for his loyalty and untiring support of the sport to see the promise he made to the participants of his electorate during the ban and after the backflip, be seen through

May we get a few more major track redevelopments in the coming years

Yes GREAT news Sandro.

Would have been nice to see a 457m distance but you can't win them all.

This is a great boost for the area & Greyhound Racing in general.

Well done to all the hand-shakers that got this project across the finish-line ;-)

Well done for Grafton.

It's hard to comment on the proposed track as few details are published. However, my guess is that 427m was chosen rather than 450m as the latter would have had a bend start.

A plan would have been helpful.

That aside, my view is that the current Grafton was always a better/fairer trip than its neighbours at Lismore/Casino - one of which is superfluous to the state's needs, particularly as they are only 30km-odd apart and have serious design problems, to say nothing about floods.

Presumably the new Grafton will be even better.

Separately, I am struggling to identify the "upgrading" referred to in the release at Wenty and Gosford. Repairs hardly justify that terminology. Money does not always mean quality.
