I have just started feeding roo meat and was wondering what type of fat and how much of it to feed. Is Olive Oil OK to use?

Yes, cold pressed olive oil is pure and natural
Fish Oil is also very good i.e from Deep Sea Fish is full of omega 3, very good for all living creatures

Hi Dennis if you can source chicken mince add 4 oz of that each feed ,but watch the weight.

I would say no steve. Its because of the positives on knackery meat.
At the same time if you get roo from knackeries or a 3rd party there is still the chance of a positive by padding the more expensive roo with horse or beef, creating the opportunity for a positive.

Sorry Charles. I should have said QUALITY BEEF.
I've been running a pet meat shop for 18 years now & I haven't touched that rubbish knackery downing beef crap for the last 16. The real stuff I get is starting to dry-up due to the drought. But the cycle will break one day. It always does.

Suet Dennis. If you can get it. 10% mix with roo. Most butchers don't "Break" beef in their shops these days so you may have to order it in ---> EXTERNAL LINK You can always add omega 3 & 6 through fish oils.
