Mayfair Bookmakers Star Sports have put up a 50,000 bonus for any greyhound winning both the English and Irish Derby. Toms The Best is the only greyhound to have won both. Trained by Nick Savva Tom won the Irish derby in 1997 and the English derby the following year. That could also mean lack of support for the 80,000 Con and Annie Kirby Memorial at Limerick which starts on March 28 and concludes April 25 overlapping the start of the English Derby on April 10th.
