We were told that the GBGB has told tracks to run Invitation Races for Open class dogs

Sounds great on paper, but , it doesnt work if the track that your trainer is attached to only has a couple of other trainers with Open Class dogs

I dont see why the Opens cant carry on behind closed doors too, plenty of attached trainers travel long distances several times per week with their graders

Obviously not the Cat 1 or Cat 2 competitions that rely heavily on sponsors , but for the life of me I cant understand why Cat 3s and one off opens cant carry on too

Your thoughts?

Cheers

I think it's likely there will be no racing for the short term.
