Hi Pat Hope you are doing ok on the other side of the world.

This is a IGB UPDATE 20 APRIL
IGB UPDATE 20TH APRIL
IGB

The IGB is making arrangements for the Covid-19 Greyhound Care Payment for the period 9th April 2020 to 22nd April 2020 (inclusive) to be processed this week. Payment will issue on Thursday 23rd April 2020.

Payment of prize money payments in respect of race events and competitions on which analysis of test results are available, will be processed on Wednesday 22nd April 2020.

The IGB continues to manage all activities, insofar as is possible, within current constraints and restrictions. The company has applied under the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme to assist in relation to payroll costs for all employees eligible under the scheme. The company has also implemented temporary pay cuts at senior levels of the organisation on a graduated scale from 20% to a maximum of 30%.

The IGB continues to monitor national developments and remain racing-ready to resume activity when the current restrictions have been eased. The IGB is operating on the basis that a return to activity is likely to be on the basis of racing behind closed doors for a period of time.

I listened to the Sweden trots on the radio whilst returning from Dapto last night so the virus is not impacting on them.
