Matt Lanigan has gone 65 consecutive races without drawing a red box at a Sandown metro meeting, a run that ends in race 9 tonight.

Does anyone know of a leaner run?

Good luck Matt.
Great young trainer with a huge future.
Hopefully the 1 gives the 2 a perfect trail into the race.....

I had a bitch that had her first box 1 ever on her 51st start.
She was a box 1 specialist...lol.
Wasn't funny at the time.

Winner winner chicken dinner lol. Congrats, long enough wait for that kind of advantage for sure.

The box draw is random so not necessarily fair. I would have thought that the red box percentage of total winners over 515 metres of 18.6%
should warrant more attention. Perhaps some redesign would create some much needed equality

Good night for Matty with a double, and not so far to drive home.

All those years of driving from Swan Hill are paying off.
He is a trainer worth following for punters. Knows how to place a dog very very well.
