I was looking at supporting some country greyhound clubs with a race name package
All ready Supporting Ballarat.. so I send an enquire to Warragul for a 4 meeting race name package.i put to the manager there I would like to have 4 races sponsorship arrangement .I was surprised at the cost of $600 ,so I offered $500 with a quick reply of no we are firm at $600.
So I went to Albion park greyhounds which would have at least 3 times the exposure.
Yes 25 races for $500.
What are some of these clubs thinking ? I want to spread my advertising budget of $500 per annum around . But Im not a fool with my money .
Cheers jack

Jack that response from warragul is really disappointing. Remember when volunteer committee members used to sell raffle tickets to increase the bank balance and now they throw 500 back at you. You've certainly identified where the heads are

Yes Hayden ,I was staggered at the response .$500 is $500..They must have felt happy with Dans money. Im extremely happy the way Ballarat accommodated me and will look at other opportunities with Ballarat. Many thanks Rod Ward ,a breath of
fresh air into the Greyhound world.

That should have been $5000 per annum.
