Why are we experiencing times between 23 - 27 minutes between races? It makes for a very long night especially with the covid19 retrictions regarding sociial distancing. There's little point in trying to stagger start times to fit with other race meetings. Invariably one is running late and the scheduled race is placed in holding mode. 20 minutes allows plenty of time imo.

I'm sure an earlier start than 7.24pm in the winter months would be welcomed by all participants as well.

This is where you have the great divide
Some say we need to look after the punters and others say its 100% Welfare issue .

Both Participants and the the Dogs own welfare must come first but it dont .

We see huge amounts spent on Welfare maybe the PTB should start listening to its Members ...

Interesting times ahead for all ...

Kevin, Spending on welfare has completely gone overboard.spending on administration has also gone way overboard,GWIC,and GRNSW HAVE TO START GETTING THEIR PRIORITIES RIGHT AND START LOOKING AFTER THE PEOPLE THAT BRING IN THE MONEY if they want us to survive;

G'day Ray,
From my understanding,race scheduled start times are controlled by Sky & Tabcorp,& because there are so many races across the board,race starting times must fit into a " schedule ",which at the end of the day,means more punters investing on more races.It's all about about making money & then....how to make more.
