Agree Ray, great call. Any one of the 3 could win and be well deserved. I get the sense Christo Bale is running in career form and over 500m might pick up the other 2.

Hard Style Rico obliterated the 515m Sandown track record (held by Hooked On Scotch) in a dominant win in the Group 1 Melbourne Cup Final running a blistering 28.91 , congratulations to all connections

Yeah Great win from the 5 Box,Super fast time,BUT saying he obliterated the track record is wrong. The old record was 28.93,so running 28.91 to break it is no where near obliterating it.

Shane fair enough, it was an enormous run by Hard Style Rico & it takes a freak to break the sandown 515m record imo

Its taken a generation or 2 before what we are witnessing now with partial USA outcrossed racing greyhounds now at stud suiting our line bred & partial outcrossed bitches. These are great official results & stats for OZ breeders now thinking of a suitable stud dog for their bitch. Results mean everything. Regards to all G.D's
