CLICK HERE This girl has just won the last at Horsham.
2 years ago she hurt herself at Broken Hill and it looked all over for her. Nine months later she came back for 6 races but didnt really do much, so she was retired. Then 12 months later, she just looked too fit and ready, so back she went for a trial. Now she's had 3 starts at Horsham for 2 seconds and a win.
Bronwyn and Greg Welsh put so much care into their dogs, it has to be seen to be believed. I know this win will be a very special feeling for Bron. That day at Broken Hill is now forgotten..... They also had 2 litter sisters of Serene racing today, at 4.5yrs old racing in open class. It's a testament to the way they treat their dogs.
Paid $10 (I took $7.10 fixed.....)

What a great effort and very inspirational stuff. Congratulations to all involved.
Thank you gentlemen and yes it was a special win. This little girl was so talented in her early career until fractures ruined her chances. She and her two litter sisters have taught us so much as hobby trainers. It’s been nerve wracking along with being so so rewarding nursing these old girls along. We hope to stay in the industry a while yet and maybe start with some “youngsters” when our “veterans” are finally full time on the couch. We would love to breed a litter with Serene Machine. She’ll never get to show her what her full potential was on the track but maybe her genetics will give us some lovely pups.

Congrats to you and your hubby Bronwyn, I like the Azkaban testmating 18.8% Pure Octane with Flying Penske doubled up aswell.
Cheers Sandro. I’ve been blessed with the dogs I’ve got. The old girls have taught me so much about keeping dogs on the track and patience. I also have a dog that I own outright called “Black Kruger” that you may have heard of - he’s racing in SA and has won 9 from 9 at Gawler. He is one of those really “sensitive” dogs that needs a small kennel with lots of attention - so another learning experience. The trainer I have him with is doing wonders with him.
