Just hearsay Sandro, but I respect my sources opinion.

Has he really got enough pups on the ground to be successful?

The stud game is all about numbers of pups on the ground. Sires like Aussie Infared and Bernardo are a rarity. They remind me of Acacia Ablaze and Credibility in the past. Stud dogs that earnt their stud careers on results not hype. Breeders are all too quick to move on to the "next big thing"

Thanks for clearing that up Paul

WOW will succeed at stud just on his dam sire. Cheers

Michael

I could say the same thing about 50 new sires.

He may have the greatest damline since Rin Tin Tin and Lassie, but I am more interested in what he throws through to his pups

Speed? Chase? Endurance? Toughness in chasing through a field?

Breaking in is only the start of the process, it really only tells you if they have any natural chase and gives you a clue to their speed

My question to Paul was about the recent break in reports, are they just hearsay or do we have any actual facts

He has explained further, thats fine

I hope he can throw versions of himself and his brother and the class of pups that his half sister has already thrown

I know Ruth and Danni personally, they love their dogs, they are true professionals and I only ever wish good things for them

Natina and Robert Howard just posted a video of a pre-breaker on FB - Wow x She Zipper - one of only 3 litters that would be near or through break in. The others would be Worby Music and the one I mentioned out of Spooky Sensation. Their post below.

WOW
The wait is over
She zipper x Wow
One of the first lot of wows to come through ready for breakers.Natural instincts.First go behind an arm .
If this is the keenness wow is throwing get on board. Half of the battle is chase . He has certainly impressed me so fair with the keenness of these babies.. Hopefully born to impress with the mothers mix of stamina, honesty and temperament ❤️

Carly Feltham-Palmer another posted Wow x Gamma Bale

Eddie and Patsy are pros at this bizzo 😂 just hope they can run or Ill actually be devo 😂😂 third go in the bullring each!

Gamma Bale x Wow, sire to watch re: attitude.

Eddie and Patsy. What can I say at this stage these two seem to be doing everything more than bloody right!

3 bullring sessions, and a slip at Sandown today and I couldnt be happier with Eddie, hes an absolute mini machine (oh good race name).

Patsy was still hesitant but still went around exceptionally well. Both went around and had a bite, Patsy with another bullring session @ Kerries & she should be more confident. They both handled that first corner like theyd been there before ❤️

👌👌👏👏 Gamma Bale x Wow

Eddie and Patsy improved super on Friday, Patsy the penny still hasnt completely dropped with her, but she is still doing everything right. Another bullring session should sort that out, its more shes not biting on completely. She will though. Big Boy Eds 😍

But geeze these two are the easiest Ive had to break in to date. 3 bullring sessions, 2 goes on a big track and look how well theyre doing.

Eddie improved by almost 10. Patsy improved by 8. When I looked at the clock with Eds I was very pleasantly surprised for a second go for break in.

Enjoy my TikToks peeps 😂🤦🏼‍♀️😂 its like Im 12 years old again 😂

Not bad getting the dam of Starline Express (Spooky Sensation). Weve done the same cross (see above), so hope this is the good break in litter?

Wouldnt be surprised if it was the Spooky Sensation litter based off this bloke - https:/ CLICK HERE

Carly Feltham-Palmer just replied to me.

Hi Darren, I have 2 Wow pups, out of Gamma Bale (just so you could see the breeding). I will say to date these two pups I have broken in myself, and have been the easiest dogs to break in to date. The dog probably has the best natural chase I have had to date which is worth its weight in gold these days (and the bitch), the bitch she is the same but a little more cautious. Both are doing EXACTLY what they should be doing and more. Dog is quite small 27.4, bitch is decent size being 26.9 but size doesn't bother me - its all about the size of the heart. Based on these two and look it could be partly the mother also, I think he is a sire to watch and I would DEFINATELY use him myself to breed. And I am calling it early; based on what I have broken in to date; if these two go with other dogs and they have given no indication to date that they won't. I expect them both to be city class. If you have a tiktok account go and check Carly and her greyhounds as I have been tracking their progress in there lol

Good point mate, not just coming from the one source, which is positive as well.

They are very similar to the reports I heard and that was Rearers and Breakers. People who don't have a vested interest in the sire and are simply giving an honest opinion. I think your anti Wow stance is clouding your judgement Sandro ;-)

I don't know where you get that I am anti-Wow?

You are putting that label on me and not an accurate judgement of my arguments

By the same token, I could call you a Wow-spruiker

Just trying to keep it real, as they are purely break in reports

I am neither pro nor Anti.

If he turns out a great sire, then it doesn't make a difference to me except I will be very happy for my friends , Ruth and Danni

Is there a more prolific sire family than the Osti Line? I can only think of Gorgeous Babe, to rival it - Token Prince, Just The Best, Second Stage, Takiri, Magic Babe, Tell You Why

Gun Law Osti - Brett Lee, Mirren Bale etc
Bobniak - Tip Top Tears, Spring Secret etc
Aussie Infrared - Lala Kiwi, Catch The Thief etc
Fabregas (Benjamin Lass) - Dundee Osprey, No Donuts etc
Path To Power - Powerhouse, Benarkin etc
History Lesson - Mountain Dry, Bucks Double etc
Osti Idol (600m TRec Bulli) - Elles Commando
Bucks Double - Adris Echo
Mighty Glory - Glossy
West On Augie - Throttle

Next sire from the Osti dam line is WOW, along with Gun Law Osti, the fastest the Osti dam line has produced!

The winners are starting to flow for Wow.

Be Wowed qualifies for the Group 3 Magic Maiden. With fast splits of 5.45, 13.78 and getting nabbed right on the line (30.00). Reading the article. The dog missed some work in the week leading up to the heats and they expect her to be much stronger this week. Which must give her a great chance from box 3.

Myrniong Stitch looks a city class sprinter in the making. Plenty in the litter can run.

Check This Out Nowra 20.47

Wow looks to be throwing good early pace into his pups.
