Sensational run!! Thats GROUP 1 win #4 for the Westmead Hawk (Ire/UK) sired bitch!

The way theyre importing Ire/UK blood, theyre clearly on a plan to get these kind of results and its only going to continue over the generations to come.

Well done!

He made it fashionable again, but it was successfully going on well before then!

Still, need to have the foresight and willingness to do it! Would be interesting to know the % of breeders willing to do an outcross mating or in Gypsy Wyongs case, outcross over an outcross!

So, fair play to the Daillys - https:/ CLICK HERE

P.s Mepunga Ruby as well 3 outcrosses up close - https:/ CLICK HERE

Dyna Gypsy and Mepunga Rosie would throw winners to a cattle Dog !

Westmead Hawke and Fernando the group 1 King are both 50% Aussie blood !

You wouldnt want to give the breeders a bit of the credit??

Exactly, both Westmead Hawk and Fernando Bale are 50% outcross bred, far more important than the 50% Australian bred.

As usual, it's all about breeding, breeding, breeding.

Pretty sure this thread is about how well prepared the Daillys dogs are.

Well done team Dailly.

Interesting that the 2 males in the litter going by gd have not won their maidens yet
It's the bitchs who have had the success

Great win, but GW is a bit of an enigma. You never know which GW is going to turn up. No doubting her talent, but I've seen her deadset turn it up in quite a few of her races.

She's won 4 x G1 races. That's 4 times more than 99.99% of greyhounds where she turned up

Just saying....

She's a beauty for sure. But why do you think she was 16/1? Like a lot of stayers she doesn't always chase 100%. The blokes on "The Catching Pen" highlighted the fact a few weeks ago.

Interesting observation Wayne! Especially when of the 4 bitches in the litter - 3 are Group class and 1 city class. The xx chromosome fans will be loving that...especially with the double cross of Follow Through showing up...

Who cares? I'd take four group 1s. I see Daillys have mated a number of bitches to Droopys Sydney. Look out. Early pace to spare.

She was 16/1 because punters thought she would have no chance of getting across from out there into a good position. She was last to jump last at the first bend out very wide and that actually won her the race as there was bad interference inside her and she went from last to second in 2 strides then it was all over bar the shouting.

Have a look at her racing form , she hasn't missed racing in any month since April 2021, in fact 43 starts in 3 different States, she has been in virtually every Group staying race since she stepped up to the longer distance at Start 9

In her last 11 starts, despite having fallen twice in that time, in the 9 runs where she stayed on her feet she has managed 2 wins and 5 seconds and 1 3rd all in Group company while she was travelling

Obviously I have nothing to do with her but I would say she was a mighty bitch and you could excuse a couple of runs where she wasn't fully at her top

I see she already has her pink card, so retirement may not be too far away

Would love to see her close out her career in the Newcastle race and the Sandown Cup with a win in either
