Wondering what sort of times first time out of the boxes? Have heard average time is around 17.50. Rare to break 17.00. Does this sound right?

If you have a pup breaking in 17.50 I would say that is a very handy pup. If it breaks 17 its a group dog. EXTERNAL LINK Check out the clubs trial times for a good guide of trial times

No expert on the times from, but to give you a rough idea, the "puppy" boxes are situated slightly past the start of the first turn (from the 440m boxes), with the distance listed as being 310m
