Box draws have made things interesting, Rod, as they often do.

Hurricanes Fury went enormous!
Didnt jump so that killed him, but he had the superstar bitch outside him, didnt get in her way and beat her home.
What a ripper little dog he is!!!
Massive thrill to be there and its great to get decent results for the time and money we are putting in.

Hey Paul, explain something to us all.
Our boy was behind Shes a Pearl after the first split, and again after the second split.
He beat her home and on merit.
So as the industry expert, explain how he got in her way when he was behind her, and then tell us who him getting in her way allowed him to beat her home.
We all await your witty retort.

You are kidding yourselves. He was always going to be a speed bump to decent dogs. Can't even win a lowly 5th grade city race. What a low dog he is. He is a low bred proofer like his supposed owner

Bit harsh. I'll be honest I backed him because I was tipped him early in the week, but once he didn't begin the best it was always gonna be a uphill task

I literally said his comment was a bit harsh

I just tried to be diplomatic so it isn't the same 3 people bickering for the next week and ruining greyhound data. Somehow I've got involved and it'll probably be 4 people bickering for a week

Fury ran the race of his life. Look how many Group 1 winners were in the field and hes finished in front of 2 of them and grabbed right on the line by another one. To put him first reserve for the Group 3 Ambrosoli Egg Consolation Final. After being 7th at the first turn!

Hes run 29.94 and 30.00 in his Easter Egg heat and semi, from well off the pace. Cant wait to see his progression from 2 & 1/2 to 3yo - coming out of the series. Be very surprised if he doesnt at least get his time down to the 29.80s when he lands on the bunny one night.

He chased his backside off the minute the boxes opened to well into the catching pen. Just like his mother did!

Enjoy it mate, the rides nowhere near over yet!

Classic dog bum response. That will do me. When you compare your dromedary to SAP you have proved you complete lack of Greyhound knowledge

Only a fool would compare the two, but only a complete halfwit would suggest I did.
The great bitch was in front of our boy, and he beat her home-thats all I said, refuting your ignorant and incorrect claim that our boy got in her way.
Dicks, you are the most deceitful and arrogant person Ive ever encountered on the net, and the funny thing is you know youre lying, yet your arrogance just forces you to keep doubling down lol
Show me how its even remotely possible that he got in her way.
You cant, youll ignore the challenge and just move on to the next ridiculous comment because thats just you, sad, pathetic Paul.
Meanwhile, actually racing greyhounds is fun, you should try it rather than just talking about it bahahahahaha

Darren, its a blast seeing the boy just put in a shift every single start, thats rare in greyhounds.
He now needs to go back to his grade and run up to these past few efforts and go in with the job.

You have lost the plot Scotty. I'm trying my best to be reasonable with you, but you are making it almost impossible. You really need to man up mate.

I could name half a dozen dogs we've bred in the last 20 years that would pick up and carry HF. He's an ordinary 5th grader at best. Of course it's exciting he made it through to the GEE Semi's, no need to be an arse about it. Now It's a Roo is a real good dog, if you are looking for a comparison.

Besides all that. You don't even own the dog, his papers say so. I don't know why you are taking credit for his success. I know it's your thing, but come on honestly.

Now smashed that Report Button, like you always do when you get bested.

And yet its my posts being reported and deleted.
Funny that.

He dropped down on the rail after the 2 dog walked out and that's where he stayed. Proving very difficult to get past as he held the inside running. Just as I predicted he was always going to finish closer to last than first.

Congratulations to D Heward & G Jackson for getting a GEE semi finalist. Well done to the Mcfadyen's for getting a Finalist in the first semi, it's a tremendous effort. It would be great to see him win a 5th grade city race.

Shes not the bitch she once was and that was shown on Saturday, as she had every conceivable chance.
Yachi Bale pipped our boy on the post with his normal powerful finish.
Some pretty handy dogs to line up against and he didnt disappoint, he never does.

He did get in the way of the great bitch She's A Pearl on the rail, but he was entitled to be there as well. Also, the great bitch was inconvenienced by another runner on the outside of her on the first turn. She's been up a long time, but enjoys racing and never led this time.

On a side note, the other great bitch in Victoria, Wow She's Fast has been beaten since she won the big one down there and was scratched from a match race last month or month before.

I know you are inexperienced at reading a race and lack greyhound knowledge. But he most certainly did check her at the first turn. Again just as I predicted. I was worried he was going to get in the way of good dogs. I'm just glad they all got around safely.

Go watch the head on. SAP veered hard left from box 5 to skimming Fury at the first bend one off the fence, she ever so slightly checked herself into box 7, losing no momentum. Fury steered a straight line and chased his backside off and didnt interfere with any dog. Which is his customary racing trait.

Again, it was a Group 1 final in itself. Fury well and truly held his own against the entire field. Other than the tearaway winner who was superb!
