I think it should be brought in immediately Australia-wide for all races from bend starts

They are a minefield of interference

Then go on with it from there

Then add a Finish on lure on 50% of races and we may get less incidents in races from

1. Dogs that are in the right place of the track from box rise
2. Dogs that chase harder and don't pull up and cause problems when deciding whether to go past another dog or not

Bend starts are fuel for Anti's !

They do zero for Greyhound racing, should have been removed from all Tracks decades ago !

Bend starts should also be banned on new builds !

Well after being positive and supportive of the PBD approach in my first post the true test of the initiative will be in the implementation. And after reading the published information for the current approaches I am concerned that both systems have limitations. Given the technology and resources available today I was expecting a much more nuanced and tech savvy approach. It's early days and I hope that the PBD experiment is fruitful and provides much needed data for further refinement and improvement. I'm sure many trainers and punters will be watching with great interest.
