MP Andrew Wilkie from Tasmania has started a push to end Greyhound Racing in Australia through Federal Parliament. Industry Participants need to remind MP Wilkie how the "POWER OF THE PEOPLE" ended the Political Career of Ex NSW Premier Mike Baird. Don't embarrass yourself or the Greyhound Industry, Refrain from abuse and bad language it wont advance the cause. MP Wilkie needs to be reminded of the benefits of the Industry to the National Economy. Property , Motor Vehicles, Produce Stores, Veterinarians, Trainers Kennel Staff Employed, Race Venue employment, Catering, TAB Revenue to Government, Petrol, Motor Vehicle Repairs, Manufacturing, Revenue and taxes, this list goes on. The affects of the above on Local communities Australia wide would be devastating. MP Wilkie needs to explain how. Cattle, Sheep, Alpacas in paddocks in the elements, storms, heat waves, transport to market, Show dogs trained in Obedience to jump hurdles, and go through tunnels, Police Dogs trained to attack and bring down Criminals, Airport Drug sniffer dogs, Equestrian Horses Cross Country - Show jumping, Race Pigeons, Poultry Industry, Pig Industry etc etc are in any way different than the Horse and Greyhound Racing Industry. The revenue to the National economy from Greyhound Betting is $11 Billion alone. Then consider Thoroughbred and Harness Racing Betting revenue. Then there is Stamp Duty and Taxes, GST, on Property, Motor Vehicles, Fuel excise etc. The unemployment that the Banning of this Industry would create would be Political suicide for a MP choosing to embark on the same path that ended the Political career of a NSW Premier.

Sadly each time one of these peanut politicians does one of these stunts, it chips away at our supporter base. People leave the industry, it reflects poorly in the general public and we are left slightly weaker. I predict it will eventually erode the industry away and they will "get us" in the long term. It will be a sad day, but unfortunately it's inevitable. In the interim I'm happy to put up a fight.

Her son Osman safe cushy ABC, SBS, CH10 social commentator. Ms Freaky a muslim Pakistani migrant was one of the instigators in trying to ban greyhound racing in NSW. That was her "gig". Don't worry about Pakistani child brides, abysmal animal cruelty, Pakistani " dancing boys. No bucks in that, or worse still, complain , you might be stoned to death. I note you have recently made statements in Parliament referencing the number of injuries and deaths occurring in greyhound racing and a call to end the Industry.
Can you please provide details on the number of Domestic Dogs and Cats bred each year the number that are killed in Road Accidents the number that are surrendered to the RSPCA and the big one How many do the RSPCA euthanise each year?
Like all Politicians you wont research or answer these questions as debate and free speech are no longer tolerated in our activist/socialist driven society. Do you really understand how activist political agendas are dividing and oppressing people?
Leave people alone. Try and find something constructive to fight for, you know something that adds to the lives of Countrys citizens, not small sections of our community who believe they have a right to impose their zealously and disdain for certain people or activities on all of Society.

So the Tasmanian Federal MP Andrew Wilkie proposal to introduce Legislation to Ban Greyhound racing in Australia takes another path. Victorian Animal Justice Party plan to introduce Legislation into the Victorian Parliament to Ban Duck Shooting. Indigenous peoples are permitted to Duck Hunt, Legislation wont affect them Australia wide, The same for Crocodile Hunting etc. The Animal Justice Party have announced it will follow with the introduction of Legislation to ban Greyhound Racing in Victoria, I have sent this Email to all Victorian MPs We need to continue to use our Voice to "Keep The Bastards Honest"

You went from a Federal matter, State matter then back to Federal matter without much content. Is it that Indigenous People can only use traditional practices as opposed to guns?
There are plenty of cases in Australia and around the world where Indigenous People practice culture without harming the environment. It's not discrimination. White fella should be allowed to learn and use traditional practices with minimal or no impact to flora and fauna.
On the other hand, pigs, rabbits, cats, etc are vermin and money should be spent on minimising the harm done to the environment, flora and fauna by these animals.
What about greyhound racing? The topic?

Mark My reference is as follows Federal MP Andrew Wilkie addressed the Federal Parliament last week with his plan to introduce a Bill to Ban Greyhound Racing Nationally. At the same time Victorian MP Georgie Purcell announced her intention to Introduce a Bill to Ban Duck Hunting in Victoria, a practice that is already banned in many Australian States. MP Georgie Purcell also announced her intention to follow up with with a Bill to Ban Greyhound Racing in Victoria. The push to ban Duck Hunting is just the start of a broader agenda. Shooters Fishers Farmers are all looking down the barrel of the Activists Gun, You all have a Voice use it before its too late.
