Do you have questions about greyhound racing?
Do you need advice on how to train a greyhound?

Fighters ... do they even get penalised anymore ??

Albion Park for the last 3 weeks so many dogs have marred but no tickets ( Maidens) .
Prime example tonight watch Race 1 - last Monday Race 2 the same dog visibly marred without penalty
Has had tickets before but last week should have not seen it race tonight surely.
Yes we all have had dogs that have done this but if you are not getting put out why put the dog in week after week to damage other dogs when you know your dog is doing this. Bad form IMHO

Marrs or eases up? Either way, if we outed every nonnie, half pied chaser or fighter racing at the moment they would be cancelling meetings and closing tracks, because there wouldn't be enough dogs to fill a meeting.

Agreed Paul, I think the dog eased up, I seen that last night but waited for the Stewards report to come out and the dog got a ticket Fail to Pursue 1st offence

If you watch the front on the dog turns its head , you can see it in the side on if you look at it .
And did you watch Race 2 the week before with the same dog ?

If we have to resort to having dogs fight other dogs that are chasing we are on the road to no where.

What is the solution ?

I thought marring involved contact. It didn't make contact did it? Even Bunny reckons it eased at the line in the call though. I looked at the race from the week before and I can't see where it marred there either to be honest.

A rising four year old. Well done to connections.

For the dog to do what he did from one week (plenty of checks in running) to another (win) is a credit to dog and trainer. Sure, the greyhound eased on the line (no harm done to other dogs) but he never marred. I hope it is cleared quickly and we get to watch it go around again because the greyhound deserves to race.
