in respect to time wasters it also can be said that some sellers and breeders are time wasters or just put pup/dogs on GD for something to do for example i have been ringing a number in victoria regarding some pups for sale i started easter saturday right thru to present day (sat ) left messages no reply
not even a nibble so i gave up trying
now to me the seller breeder has wasted my time and missed out on possible sale so the time waster saying goes both ways

I save their numbers so I know who they are next time they call time wasters are repeat ofenders and they will call again and again I actually had one call me today and he also called me last October I knew who he was before I answered the phone so needless to say the call didn't go to well...lol

We have enough trouble with antis, why do greyhound people have to try to drag each other down?

I am moving house and had to cut down on numbers dramatically and all I have had is trouble over the last month or so.

First I had a free to good home. I stated that she broke in a rocket, but busted a toe in pre training which required amputation and has lost a bit of time. I wrote she can only race once a week but would be suited as a broodie after racing. The 1st caller I got questioned why she was a give away because obviously I didn't write slow enough. After being called every name you could think of and having my integrity questioned I deleted the add and decided to keep her. So far she has had 3 starts all on the tab for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd so i'm obviously a crook.

Then I had to move on some pups. They were by a proven sire out of a 1st time mother, but she was the fastest dog i've ever had break in. Admittedly she did have a lot of injuries and her form wasn't as good as it should have been, but they were half reared and absolutely magnificent for under $2000. 95% of callers asked if she was proven and if I would sell multiples for under the price of 1 pup.

Then I tried to give away a broodie for 1 pup. Her previous litter are just over 2 1/2 and have won over 50 races with 10 out of 11 winning a race. All I got is can I have a litter and give her back or can I supply a straw (always seemed to be a woeful sire) and you pay for surgical and whelp and i'll give you a pup.

That's my rant anyway. There were genuine people, but there was way more people with stupid questions or nasty comments that just wanted to have go at you.

Wayne, I can back you up on that one. Had a similar experience
a month or so ago. The pups were advertised FOR $800.00, after
leaving a message, a week goes bye, so I ring again, this time
it is answered, but surprise surprise the pups are worth $2000.00
each according to this blokes trainer, even though the same add
is there for $800.00, needless to say I didnt buy, but I have
saved their names and number for future reference.

absolutely hate selling pups or race dogs! Due to so many idiots
Advertised a 5th grade (TAB Class)dog a couple of years back for a $1000 one of the first IDJITS that called asked "Will it Win in Town"????. Another local asked me for a give/away! to play around with on the country tracks. Offered her a TAB dog, rang me back and stated "Not up to HER Standard"... NEVER again Ron. IDJITS, IDJITS!!

I have been plagued by time-wasters with my ad. You have to feel a bit sorry for them really that they have such pathetic lives they can't find anything better to do. But it is their phone bill.

Yep. If you're trying to sell a dog, pups, straw etc. on here or Facebook 95% comfortably would be timewasters and trolls trying to drag whatever you've got down

i've found the cheaper u are selling something for, the more nufties you get messaging you.

I had pups up for sale for $1750. Had probably 2 dozen people asking me if i'd take a grand etc, just the usual time wasters.I said to a few of them, if u cant pay $1750 i don't want you buying a pup cause good god i dont know where theyd be getting reared.. but it wouldnt be somewhere good.

Got a litter for sale now for 4.5k+ and 95% of people who have msged me are legitimately interested and have bought.

Other side of the coin, the potential buyer is entitled to as much information as he or she wants to make an informed decision, a lot of dogs for sale on Data are very short on information and only when a buyer has covered the questions they have can they decide if the dog is what they want and entitled to say "not for me"! That does not make them timewasters
