Hey Sean .. you can put me down for a pup from her .. and considering she's just another Primo Uno, I would expect that they'll be pretty cheap mate .. :)

Oh well - at least we can revisit this in a few years time, when she has runs on the board as a broodie - If I was looking for a pup I'd be lining up to buy one of Shimaguni's as well. Yes fighting is a negative but there are plenty of bitches that fought that turned out to be great producers - the key factor with Shimaguni is her immense ability, not her tickets. If she was also a slow early type I'd be much more wary, but with the style of her recent wins I'd definately take a punt on her as a broodie.

I wasn't an admirer of her at all until her last run against Miata, and her run last week over 525m at The Meadows was an amazing follow up.

I wish she was a slow early type Tom, I'm sure my girl was sick of the sight of her butt trying to chase her down when she was in Victoria, she is a very very fast girl is Shimaguni. In saying that I would be putting her to a good chase sire because I think there are a couple of close up ancestors that have given her a couple of tricks that you'd like to breed out if possible but, to the right sire, she'll throw some absolute rockets that can get over ground as well I have no doubt about that.

Best of luck with her Sean

Tom

I have never doubted her ability, speed wise, and if she can produce as well as another Primo Uno bitch in Electra, whom also got tickets for fighting, then I'm sure Sean would be more than happy...

I'm more than happy to say, I was wrong, don't worry....been wrong many times over, mate....you would think I would learn sometime..

cheers

The only thing that stopped your girl rolling her Doug was the inexperience of continually racing consistantly against city class animals as a younger bitch. Next time as soon as they show you something special as a young pup, send them down. They just need to get used to the more intense competition down here. Natural improvement will see to the rest. Unless of course they are a champion from the word go, then you can race them from anywhere in the country.

You live 'n' learn. Remember your girl equalled the Wgl TR a few days before Shimaguni broke it. She was top top bitch Doyen Star.

can't remember that I'm sure you right...as about right as, you suggesting that same father was going to be the No 1 sire in Victoria & Australia...oh, do remember how you quoted with more numbers, that same father was going to out do that other prominent sire...how time flies...lol... :P

Shima Breeze-
4.30-16.54-29.30.
Fernando bale PB when he won Adelaide cup by 8 lengths-
4.37-16.52-29.20.
Mepunga blazer in heat of derby ran a flying-
4.43-16.61-29.25
Dyna double one best around apk in heat of adel cup-
4.42-16.74-29.30
Worm burner winning nationals in 2016 and his pb-
4.37-16.66-29.17.
Got me thinking, Would Shima Breeze run on Thursday be one of the fastest bitches to go around angle park?

Other fast bitches to go around apk that we could think of-
Bettys angel 29.12 I reckon is the fastest bitch to go around apk then probs classic Capri when running 2nd to Brett lee when he broke track record she went 29.24.
So shes not too far off.

Fabregal ran 29.39 & Mrs Bubbles ran 29.43 in 2016

She's A Looper ran 29.41 in 2015 & Real Flash ran 29.49 in the same year

In 2013 Iona Seven ran 29.41, 2nd fastest to Farmor Las Vegas (29.36) and Cintiarna ran 3rd fastest 29.53

Zara's Entity recorded 29.29 seconds over the 515m while Striker Light also trialed and recorded 29.89 seconds

that was a trial, so for this bitch to do it in a final is a great achievement,

did i hear somewhere that Fernando bale was a likely stud for her ?

I do remember zaras Entity flying in that trial. Was her first look at apk too by memory? Shima Breeze is a daughter of Fernando so not sure who they would use when the times right.
