I heard you could not sleep at night Martin so you sent the cheque to the Diamond man. Well done Martin,Catherine & Gary on the great win and even doubly well done on the fantastic gesture.

Update on the caging in of the kennels.

Contract has being placed and it is hoped that they will be fitted by the end of June at the latest.

John

This is one of the first jobs that the track supporters members requested. So we the committee organised a benefit night to raise the funds to get it done. Some dogs have had to be withdrawn as they were pounding the doors during racing and trailing sessions and it is hoped that this move will eradicate this happening again.

Paul

With the Cox Cup and the Kenny Thompson Unraced due to start soon the TSC will not be running a stake in May. I will post when and what grade our next one will be.

The pups will not be ready by June Martin - leave it to July -
a special stake for 14 month old black bitch pups by Kildare based stud dogs - with two skipped months it could be 4,000 to the winner.

We will be sponsoring two 12 dogs sweepstakes with the finals taking place on Cox Cup final night Friday 8th June 2012.

Stakes will be for the lower and middle grade dogs and are at the Racing Managers discretion but are confined to members of Newbridge Track Supporters Club.

The thinking behind the two above stakes is that regulars that would not normally have a greyhound good enough to compete on the biggest night of the year at the stadium will now have a chance to do so.
